As a newcomer to the world of blogging, I found it reassuringly simple to set up my blogspot. Whether I'll have anything even remotely interesting to say on it, however, is a completely different matter: who wants to read about Simon Draper or what I've been doing?
Anyway, it's created now so if anything thrilling happens to me, I'll keep you posted ...

Hi Simon. Congratulations on setting up your blog. This blog can be used as a learning log of your experiences for the rest of the course, as well as anything else that you might like to add that may not course-related.
I am sure that there must be some Simon Draper fans out there who want to know what you're doing. Surely you have some Victoria County History groupies?

I know what you mean, I don't know why anyone would be interested in my life - it's boring!
But, having said that, I am interested in reading yours so perhaps we are more interesting than we think...
